Mrs. Odessa McRae Sears will forever be remembered for the beautiful and kind things she did for so many people. Both family and friends will remember her as a hardworking, kindhearted, loving and dedicated woman of God. She was always ready and willing to help anyone in need.
Mrs. Odessa Sears was born December 22, 1948 to the parentage of Mr. Leroy and Gladys McRae in Milan, Georgia.
She received all her education in Telfair County. At a very early age, Mrs. Odessa joined Wesley Chapel Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Rickey Sears, nephew, Carlton C. McRae, two sisters, Jacqueline McRae and Dorthea Edwards and a brother, Tommy Bolden.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her devoted family; Daughter, Gwendolyn (Edward) King of McRae, GA; Sons: Willie (Rita) Sears of McRae, GA and Marvin (Marchelle) Wells of Macon, GA; Extended children she raised: Kent Mincey, Jr., Shavande Mincey, Suganvia Bolden, Jermaine Chambers; Three sisters: Earline Bolden of Atlanta, GA, Genell McRae of Macon, GA, Barbara (Zachery) Andrews of Atlanta, GA. Twenty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two nephews one niece and a host of cousins and friends.
