Mary Williams

Mary Frances Williams was born on November 14, 1954 in McRae, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of the late William Henry Dobson, Sr and Bessie Dobson.

Mary Frances Williams departed this life on Sunday morning January 03, 2021 at Dorminy Hospital in Fitzgerald, Ga.

Mary Frances Williams attended Telfair County High School.

At an early age Mary Frances Williams joined New Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Broxton, GA where she served faithfully until her health began to fail.

Mary Frances Williams is preceded in death by her loving father William Henry Dobson, Sr. and two brothers William Henry Dobson, Jr. and John Frank Dobson, all of McRae, Ga. Brother-in-law Donald Lee Leggett of Macon, Ga and Vance Thomas of Douglas, GA.

Mary Frances Williams leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, a loving husband of 45 years, Johnny Williams, Sr, of Broxton, GA. A loving daughter, Audrey Williams (Steve) of Douglas, GA; Three sons: John Dobson of McRae, GA, Jarvis (Jessica) Williams of Baxley, GA and Johnny Jr (Noah) Williams of Douglas, GA; Seven grandchildren: Quawntasha Williams, Malachi Williams, and Steve Smith, Jr all of Douglas, GA, Jius Jackson and Jarvis Williams, Jr of Baxley, GA, Grace and Jake Womack of Douglas, GA.; Two great-grands: Danyella and Daniel Lowe of Douglas, GA; A loving  mother, Mrs. Bessie Dobson of McRae, GA; A loving sister, Loretta Wiggins of McRae, GA; A mother-n-law, Ms. Doris Williams of Douglas, GA; Five sister in laws: Linda Arnold, Lottie Mae Thomas, Tammy Leggett all of Douglas, GA, Faye Littleton of Hazlehurst, GA and Clara Arnold of McRae, GA; Special niece Stephanie Wilcox of McRae, GA and a special nephew Gus Wiggins of McRae, GA; Special lifelong friends Mrs. Angelo McRae of Pridgen, GA and Ms. Alice Walker of Broxton, Ga; A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
