A Time To Be Born: Mrs. Jarell Sue Woodard-Willis was born in Helena, Georgia on October 2, 1930 to the late Willie and Lizzie Woodard.
A Time To Serve God: Mrs. Jarell joined and attended Saint Joseph Church of God in Christ at an early age. She was very active in the church as long as she was able. She loved good singing and served the Lord with her beautiful voice and praises.
A Time To Unite: Mrs. Jarell was united in Holy Matrimony to Eugene Willis who preceded her in death.
A Time To Work: Mrs. Jarell worked as a cook for Chicken King and Depot in McRae until her health failed. She was a very hard and honest worker.
A Time To Transition: Mrs. Jarell transitioned at age eighty-nine (89) to her heavenly home at the Dodge County Hospital in Eastman, Ga on Monday, August 25, 2020 in the early afternoon.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Woodard and siblings: Mannie Bell Roman, Celestine (Larry) Williams, Evelyn Sailem, Hurbert Woodard, Willie Woodard, Sr., Ellise Woodard, and Mary (Daniel) Ferguson.
A Time To Mourn: She leaves to cherish her memories five (5) daughters: Brenda Willis-Walton, Patricia Armstrong, Delores Willis, Carolyn(Wesley) Williams and Carletha Shivers Willis; Three (3) sons: Eugene Willis, Edward Willis and James Willis; Sister, Mary Ann Woodard; two (2) brothers: John Woodard and Grady Woodard; Sixteen (16) grandchildren, Thirty (30) great- grandchildren, Eleven (11) great-great grandchildren; Special friends, Mrs. Sophie Berry and Mr. Daren Jones; A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
