Willene C. Clark

Ms. Willene Clark departed this life on Saturday, January 8, 2022 while in Dodge County Hospital in Eastman, Georgia. She lived a blessed life that was filled with an abundance of joy, love, peace, giving and laughter. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and helping others.

Willene was born on December 28, 1947 in Rhine, Georgia to the late Johnelle Clements and Lola Jordan. She was the first of ten children and was affectionately called “Ma” by her siblings.

Willene graduated from Central High School in McRae, Georgia in 1965. She worked many years for the city of Delray Beach Florida Parks and Recreation Department where she later retired in 2011. After retirement, Lola relocated to McRae, Georgia and has resided there for the past nine years. She was a faithful member of New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Boynton Beach, Florida prior to relocating.

Left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Lola Clark; one granddaughter, Jada Matthews; one aunt, Leila Bostick Haynes, whom she considered a sister and best friend; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Willene will be missed by all those who knew her. She was the best mother and grandmother and is loved beyond measure.
