Louis Adams was born from the union of Jessie Bell and Willie Adams in Rhine, GA. “LD”, as he was called by many, made the decision as a young adult to relocate to Florida. After trying his hand at various types of employment, he landed a position as a Longshoreman out of local #1416 in Miami, Florida.
Never forgetting his love for his hometown, “LD” traveled back and forth between Miami and Rhine for over 40 years, eventually returning home to enjoy his retirement and start a second career. Always working, he began the business of growing various crops until a decline in health restricted his activity.
He leaves to cherish his memory three (3) daughters: Sandra (Davie), Dianna (Perry) and Sandra-James; one (1) son, Louis, and (1) stepson, Roy (FeFe); three (3) siblings: Gladys Kate, Altamead and Willie-James; grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Willie Bell and his daughter, Linda.
We would like to use this for a special acknowledgement of Mary Etta Glover for all her love and devotion over the years.
