On Monday morning, June 26, 2023, Lee Anna Jackson (Horne), departed form this earthly life. After being transported from Memorial Health in Savannah, she had a brief stay at Community Hospice in Vidalia, GA.
A native of Georgia. She was born on December 8, 1952 in Wheeler County to the late Geneva Horne McRae (Fred) and the lathe Roosevelt “Pop” King. She attended Wheeler County High School, in Alamo GA. She was married to Benton Jackson. They later divorced yet remained friends throughout the years.
Lee Anna was an active member of the Pentecostal Church of God, in Lumber City, GA. She enjoyed reading the Bible, tending to her flowers, and spending time with family. She was a loving mother, grandmother sister, and aunt.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a large host of family and friends. Sons: Stanley “Red” Clements (Vanessa) of Lumber City and Sidney Clements of Alamo GA.
Grands: Sabriya Griffin (Eric) of Hazlehurst: Gwantina “May” Ryals of Lumber City GA; and nine great- grandchildren.
Maternal siblings: Gloria (Billy) Robinson of Atlanta; Dorothy Wright of Alamo; Jean Vann McRae (Earnest) of Baxley; and Jackie Horne of Alamo.
Paternal siblings: Frankie Conaway (Star); Greg Rainey; “Chip” Rainey (Claudia); Bruce King (Alberta) and Yolanda (Charlie) all of Hazlehurst.
She held a special place in her heart for nieces and nephews: Rodney Horne (Ebony); Katrina Robinson: Kerry Williams (Tasha); Tina (Mike) Woodard all of Alamo and “Petey” Horne of South Carolina.
She was proceeded in death by her Brother Ozell Horne of alamo; Sister: Berthene Robinson of Lumber City: niece Niesha of Hinesville and Aunt Lelia Robinson (William) of Glenwood.
