LaJuana Tucker

La Juana Tucker  was born July 2, 1969 in Telfair County, McRae, Georgia to the parentage of Jimmy and Jaquina Cooper Tucker. She entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 11, 2021 while in Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

La Juana  is preceded in death by her grandchild, Kamora Fowler, brother, Jerry Alexander Tucker, maternal grandparents, Leo and Clara Rozier, Paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Mary Lee Tucker.

La Juana was employed at Hazlehurst Mills and Milan State Prison. She attended the Telfair County School system and graduated in 1987. She joined Corinth Christian Methodist Episcopal Church at an early age. Later she joined Faith Deliverance, McRae, GA under the pastoral guidance of Pastor Michael McMillian until her death. 

LaJuana enjoyed cooking, loving on her grandchildren and spending time with family, friends. She was always willing to help others.

La Juana leaves to cherish her fond memories: Her loving parents; four children: Damion C. Wooten, Jazzmine Fowler, Melanie Tucker and De Marcus Mincey all of McRae, GA; Seven (7) grandchildren: Brian Fowler, Kaywon Fowler, Cammeeio Fowler, Aariyah Fowler, Loyalty Fowler, Grant Fowler and Chase Mincey; Two sisters: Jennifer (Jimmy) McMillian of Barley, GA and Shunda (Kendrick) Johnson of McRae, GA; One brother, Jimmy “Buster” Tucker III of McRae, GA; Five aunts: Iris Daniels, Rose Mary Blue, Josephine (Collie) Williams, Olivia A (Rodney) Rozier and Carla R. Sirmans, all of McRae, GA; One uncle, Phillip (Janice) Rozier, Sr, of Dublin, GA.; Special God-Mother, Mrs. Lessie Mae Troup; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and love ones who will truly miss her.
