Howard Mortuary sadly announces the passing of Mr. Evans Fletcher , 76 (formerly of Scotland,GA) who departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2020. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Scotland Cemetery GA at 1:00 pm. CDC guidelines will be followed and only 10 people (chosen by family) will be allowed to attend. This guideline will be strictly enforced.
A public viewing will begin Monday evening April 20th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Howard Mortuary. Public viewing will continue Tuesday, April 21, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, per request of the family. Please remember that we must follow the guidelines of CDC; therefore, we will only allow 5 persons allowed in at a time to view.
We are sorry for any inconveniences and we ask that you please have patience and understanding during this difficult time. However, for the safety of all, we need to adhere to these guidelines. There will be someone on the outside directing the flow of traffic.
Below is a brief overview of the procedures:
1. Only groups of 5 persons viewing at once
2. There will be a 2-3 min time period for each group to view. This is to ensure a timely flow of traffic.
2. All others must remain in their cars, there will be no congregating on the outside of the church.
3. Once you’ve viewed, you must exist the premises.
Again, this is per the guidelines of the CDC, to ensure the safety of all during this time of this COVID-19 pandemic.
