Calvin "CJ" Underwood, Jr.

Baby CJ  went to heaven on September 25, 2020 after struggling with illness.  He spent his final days surrounded by loving family.

During CJ's brief time here on earth, he touched several lives.  His beautiful smile could melt the hearts of those around him.

CJ was a happy little boy.  He loved being in his parents’ arms, cuddling with soft toys, and laughing with his brothers and sisters. His beautiful fighting spirit gave us all courage and changed our lives forever.                                      

With CJ’s passing, we are reminded that life is to be cherished and celebrated, and not to be taken for granted. We created wonderful memories with CJ, and are thankful that we were blessed to be his parents.

CJ is survived by his loving parents, Calvin and Seante Underwood of Warner Robins, Ga; Siblings: Aaliyah Knight, Jaylan Adams, Latrina Ellis and MaKenzie Underwood; Grandparents: Johnny (Frances) Ware, Calvin (Sherry) Underwood and Felicia (Greg) Wilcox.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ava Adore Underwood.

He also leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that gave him outstanding love and support while in the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite Hospital, as well as many friends and loved ones who visited and prayed for him during his illness.
