Apostle Nina Bell Lee entered into eternal rest on August 28, 2021 at home following a brief illness. She was born November 6, 1952 in Ailey, GA to the parentage of Mrs. Ora M Lee and the late Willie (Will) Lee.She is preceded in death by her father and one brother, Harvey (TC) Lee.
Apostle Lee is survived by her mother, Ora Mae Lee; One brother, W. Frank Lee (Glovia) of Ailey, GA; Two (2) sisters: Trudy P. Walters (Ted) of Vidalia, GA and Lena Madison-Pough of Miami, FL.; Six (6) nieces: Yolanda C. Reese (Frederick) of Ft. Mitchell, AL, Asia Reese of Ft. Mitchell, Al, Shenequoia Lee of Ft. Carson, Colorado, Kima Brantley of Kennesaw, GA, Alicia Brantley of Mt. Vernon and Ayana N Lee of Altamonte Springs, Fl.; Nine (9) nephews: Chelbric Lee of Vidalia, GA, Saviyah Brantley of Vidalia, GA, Israel Preston of Ailey, GA, Izaree Seed and Dewayne Jones of Altamonte Springs, Fl, Samuel Lee of Ailey, GA, Landon Lee of Vidalia, Ga, Trenton Walters of Kansas City, Missouri, and Khris Clark of Miami, Fl; One aunt, Daisy P. Haynes of Ailey, GA; Two (2) uncles: Lewis E. Baker (Queenie) of Union City, Ga and Marvin Baker of Flint, Mich.; A host of cousins other relatives and friends. There are countless individuals in and out of the Montgomery County area that bears a name given by Apostle Lee. They all recognize her for that fact!
Apostle Nina B Lee accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into her life in 1973 under the leadership of Bishop W M Jenkins and served as district missionary. After the death of Bishop Jenkins, she served as Assistance Pastor in January of 1996.
She became pastor in January of 1997. On April 5, 1998. She was ordained as Elder and Overseer of Prayer Mountain International Church, Inc of Ailey, Ga.
Apostle Lee received her PHD in Theology and her PHD in Divinity from Slidell Baptist Seminary in Louisiana. There, she also received an Associate degree, Bachelor of Arts degree, and Master in Theology.
She served as Vice-President of Women-With-A-Call in Hazlehurst, GA. Apostle Lee has established many ministries at Prayer Mountain. Under her ministries has birthed Concerned Women’s Ministries, Mothers of Zion, Deborah’s Heart, Divine Nature and Intercessory prayer group. Prayer Mountain is a 24 hours prayer center and has been for over ten years. Her heart’s desire was to be in the presence of God at all times.
Apostle Lee was a simple person who liked simple things. She didn’t want anyone making a big deal out of her accomplishments. She was a praying woman that believed in prayer. The Apostle had a big heart. There were so many individuals she has prayed for, helped spiritually as well as financially. Apostle Lee preached the Word, taught the Word and LIVED the Word!
