Alfonso Singleton

Mr. Alfonso Singleton was born on October 17, 1965 in Cove Springs, Florida to the late Billy Dallis and Shirley G. Singleton. He was called home to rest in the arms of God on Thursday December 30, 2021 while Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia.

Alfonso was a faithful member of Prayer Mountain International Church. He attended school at Wheeler County High School in Alamo, Georgia and furthered his education at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia, Georgia. He worked with the Wheeler County School System, Home Healthcare and Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, Georgia.

Alfonso was preceded in death by both of his loving parents, mother, Willene Austin and grandmother, Elnora Gillis.

Alfonso is survived by his loving wife: Joycenetta Singleton; Two (2) daughters: Tangela Adams (Jay) and Susmeako Glasper (Jarvis); Three (3) sons: Charles Ira, Lemuel Glasper, Jr. (Destiny), and Ray Charles Powell, Jr.; Nine (9) siblings: Neyse Newkirk (Willie), Lorraine Singletary (Rodney), Nikita Singleton (Charmaine), Derrick Williams (Kim), Herman Dallas II (Drucilla), Darius Dallas (Shonda), Rodney Dallas (Anika), Jaron Phillips (India), and Otis Owens; One (1) God Mother, Sara F. Jones (John); Four (4) God Sisters: Zena McBride, Kimberly Chandler, Jackie Ruise (Reggie), and Kimberly Bell (Bill); One (1) God Brother, Joe Chandler; One (1) God Daughter, Kimmenetta Smiley; Two (2) God Sons: Jeremiah Roberson and Ralph Washington; Three (3) special aunts: Connie Travis (Caurice), Diane James (Marcell), and Eunice Gillis (Tony); Two (2) devoted nieces: Veneka Bryant (Shawn) and Tencia Jones; One (1) special friend, Deslyn Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Alfonso will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
